Registration Information

 

For the following courses Registration will take place online via univis.

  • Cambridge Legal English (ILEC) I
  • Cambridge Legal English (ILEC) II
  • Discussion, Negotiation and Presentation in English
  • Drafting and Negotiating Cross-border M&A and Joint Venture Contracts
  • Transnational Commercial Law (30 places in total, allocation criteria will be adjusted accordingly)

Places will be allocated as follows:

  • Group A: 20 places will be allocated to students of the Diplomstudium.
  • Group B: 3 places to students of the Doktoratsstudium (PhD Programme).
  • Group C: 2 places to students in the Erasmus Exchange Programme.

 

If the number of applications exceeds the places available, the following procedure will apply:

Group A:

Priority is given to students in stages (Studienabschnitte) 2nd and 3rd of the Diplomstudium. Among students who fulfil this Criterion places will be allocated at random (as provided for by the univis system).

Group B:

Places will be allocated at random (as provided for by the univis system).

Group C:

Places will be allocated at random (as provided for by the univis system).

 

Special Information regarding Cambridge Legal English (ILEC) II:

Places will be allocated as follows:

  • Priority will be given to students who successfully took the ILEC I assessment.
  • Any remaining places will be allocated in the proportions above (group A: 80 %; group B: 12 %; group C: 8 %), according to the criteria for ILEC I courses.

 

However, in all Cambridge Legal English Courses (ILEC), applications of students who are native-speakers of the English language will not be taken into consideration.
