On 5 November 2021, Christiane Wendehorst held a presentation at a conference organised by the European Law Departments of the University of Vienna and Johannes Kepler University Linz.

Competition and consumer law experts came together on 5 November 2021 to discuss current topics in antitrust law and how this legal field will develop in the future, especially regarding climate change, the COVID-19 pandemic and digitalisation (‘Kartellrecht im Wandel: Braucht es neue Ansätze für Klima, COVID und Datenkraken?’). The conference was jointly organised by the Departments on European Law of the University of Vienna and the Johannes Kepler University Linz.

In her presentation, Christiane Wendehorst focused on different actors in the data economy and their rights to data access, particularly in regard to those actors who had a share in the co-generation of data.
